With the popularity of decoration styles such as "cream style" and "log style," "wood grain bricks" and hybrid floors have become a popular presence, but there is also great controversy.
Some people say that wood grain bricks are an intelligence tax, while others say they are artifacts. However, I think most people's comments are quite extreme and misleading.
My family's wood grain bricks, paired with hybrid flooring in some areas, have been in use for a year now. In this issue, I will share with you my true feelings and opinions on wood grain bricks and hybrid flooring.
(In order to give everyone a more intuitive understanding of wood grain bricks and hybrid flooring, we will explain them in detail in the form of Q&A in the following text. Each point is a personal experience, and we suggest that you save it for future use.)
Why did you decide to use wood grain bricks and hybrid flooring initially?
The two main reasons for choosing wood grain bricks and hybrid flooring in the beginning were "paving problem" and "underfloor heating problem." Below is a brief explanation.
- Spread Problem
Because the home has chosen a warm natural wood style, wooden flooring or hybrid flooring is the preferred choice for flooring.
However, wooden flooring cannot lay the dry areas of the kitchen and bathroom, so it cannot achieve a seamless effect. An unsightly doorstone needs to be added.
Even with this extremely narrow edging, it doesn't have the desired spreading effect.
- Underfloor Heating Issues
Because there is underfloor heating at home, I always feel that wooden flooring or even hybrid flooring might not be as environmentally friendly as ceramic tiles.
No matter what merchants say about "zero formaldehyde" floor heating-special wooden flooring or hybrid flooring, I always feel that it is not as good as ceramic tiles. The fact has proven that wooden flooring used in underfloor heating rooms is not as good as ceramic tiles in terms of thermal conductivity, insulation, and durability.
Based on the above two reasons, the idea of laying wooden flooring was almost abandoned. However, it is difficult for floor tiles to achieve the desired decoration style, especially the warm feeling of wood grain.
Not to mention the shapes of "fishbone puzzle" and "herringbone puzzle."
Accidentally brushing on a decoration photo of someone else's household wood grain brick, instantly moved.
It not only has the visual warmth of wooden flooring, but also the properties of ceramic tiles, and can also create the fishbone puzzle that I miss day by day. Therefore, without hesitation, I chose wood grain bricks for my home and combined them with hybrid flooring in certain areas.
I have been staying here for a year now, and the overall feeling is still very "fragrant." Especially after the New Year, when relatives and friends come to visit, almost everyone comes in and asks:
"Isn't your house really made of wooden flooring?"
"The foot feel is also great, isn't it?"
